I have been teaching first grade for 9 years and absolutely love it! When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my 8 year old daughter and my husband who I have been married to for 10 years. Working full time and my daughter’s gymnastics schedule keep me very busy, but when I have spare time I enjoy blogging, finding new craft ideas, shopping on Etsy, and looking around on Pinterest! I am always on the lookout for new recipe ideas.
Here is a fun homophone game that can be used at a word work center. We have included a worksheet for students to record their matches. Click here to get your copy!
This is my 9th year teaching first grade, and I can't imagine teaching anything else! I have an amazing husband of eight years, two very energetic little boys, and a sweet baby girl (who's closer to 2 than I'd care to admit!) When not teaching, blogging or being a mama, I love to read, be crafty, and catch up on my night time soaps! I love creating lessons and activities, and my computer is never too far away from me. I am a Mac, and love all things Apple. :)

It looks adorable, but it won't let me download it!
