Bug unit preview...
We are working on our Bug unit for TPT right now, and hope to have it finished and up by this weekend. Be watching for a giveaway... But for now, we've uploaded a fun game, Going Buggy. If you liked Weather Walk, then you will love this! The task cards can be used in either game, and this game includes even more! It's great for review, or for centers. Please stop by and check it out! Click the bee, and it will send you right there!
Want your game for free? Leave a comment tonight telling us how you would use this game, and we will draw 1 lucky winner at 10:00 pst. Good luck!

This would be a great addition to our centers. I like to change them each trimester. My kids are so fascinated about insects since we caught our caterpillars. This definitely would suit their interests.

I would love to use this game at my teacher table as an incentive for keeping up the hard work as our school year comes to an end :)
ReplyDeleteI would use this as a review during centers. The contraction task cards would be perfect since my kiddos definitely need extra practice with this.
ReplyDeleteThis would be used as a center in my room - reading over your description it would be an awesome one to have! :o)

I would love to use your centers in my classroom! I love that they can be utilized in either language arts or math, and they would be a great addition to my centers and resources (especially as a 1st year teacher!). Fingers crossed!!

I'm using Weather Walk in my Games Center this week! The kids loved it today! I would love to have Going Buggy to use during Centers while doing our Living Things unit! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that I can use this game to practice and review so many skills! I can use it in centers when a skill is introduced. We just started compound words this week. I can use it for review (contractions, fractions, etc.) with specific students.
ReplyDeleteI will use this at math centers. After students finish their assignment they can math centers...and they would love this one! :)
ReplyDeleteThis would be awesome as we are doing our butterfly unit now and my math group does fun centers on Friday's.

Love your stuff!! Bought the Weather Walk this weekend. I plan on having my kids play this game with our WatchDog that comes in on Thursdays! They love playing games with Dads. :)
ReplyDeleteI would definitely use this in centers with my students. They love to have fun games to play. And I love that they are learning without realizing it :D
ReplyDeleteI would use this in stations/math or reading. My kids love a game they can play together! They don't even think about the fact that they are learning! LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteThe bug theme would be perfect with my plant unit. After reviewing with my students I would put it at a work station/ center for extra practice.

Adooorable! I think I would use the game for math--we are just starting to work on the greater numbers.
ReplyDeleteThis would be perfect for a review center! My kids are loving anything with a game board right now, and we just happen to be studying insects right now.

I would definitely use this during our last grading period. I work on one theme for 2 weeks until the end of the year to keep the kiddos interested and focused on becoming 2nd graders.
ReplyDeletePick me! Pick me! Pick me! We are starting our insect unit after Easter, and I would L.O.V.E. to add this to my centers!
